Refunds & Returns Policy

1. Overview

At FURNITURE WAREHOUSE & SHOWROOM, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist you. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the processes, conditions, and timeframes for returning items and obtaining a refund.


2. Return Period

a) Standard Returns: Most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.

b) Furniture Items (sofas, sectionals, bed frames, dining tables, large dressers, etc.): Most furniture items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Furniture must be in its original, unassembled condition (unless assembly was performed by our delivery team) and free from stains, pet hair, odors, or damage not present at the time of delivery.

c) Accessories and Decor: Items such as lighting, rugs, cushions, wall art, and small accessories may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they remain in their original, unused condition with all tags and original packaging intact.

d) Clearance and "Final Sale" Items: Items marked "Final Sale" or "Clearance" are not eligible for return or exchange. Please review product details carefully before purchasing.

3. Condition Requirements for Returned Items

All returned items must meet the following conditions:

- Items must be in original condition, free from stains, damage, pet hair, and odors
- All original tags must be attached
- Items should be returned in their original packaging whenever possible
- Furniture must be unassembled (unless assembly was performed by our delivery team)
- Items must not have been modified, altered, or repaired by the customer
- Proof of original purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or packing slip) must be provided

If items do not meet the above conditions, a restocking fee of up to 20% of the original purchase price may be charged, or the return request may be denied.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

- Items marked "Final Sale" or "Clearance"
- Custom or made-to-order furniture (i.e., items customized based on specific fabric, finish, or size requirements)
- Opened mattress protectors and bedding accessories
- Items that have been assembled, used, or modified by the customer
- Items missing original tags or packaging
- Fabric swatches or samples


5. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact our customer service team at info@furniturewarehouseshow.com or +1 201 770 1411 within the applicable return period.

Step 2: Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

Step 3: Our team will review your request and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with return instructions.

Step 4: Please securely pack the item(s) using the original packaging (or packaging offering equivalent protection) and clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.

Step 5: For items eligible for home pickup, our team will schedule a pickup time convenient for both parties. For other items, you may return them to our store during business hours.

6. Return Shipping and Pickup

a) Standard Items: Return shipping for standard items is free. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label via email.

b) Furniture and Large Items: For furniture and oversized items, we offer free home pickup within 30 days of delivery. Our team will schedule the pickup time. Items must be disassembled (if applicable) and ready for pickup at the original delivery location.

c) In-Store Returns: You may return items directly to our showroom during business hours at the following address: 700 31st St, Union City, NJ 07087, USA. Please bring your order confirmation and the item(s) in their original condition.

7. Refunds

a) Refund Method: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Card: Refunds will be credited back to the card used for the original purchase.
- Store Credit: Refunds will be issued in the form of store credit.

b) Refund Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will process the refund within 5–10 business days. Please note that it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.

c) Original Shipping Costs: As all orders qualify for free standard shipping, there are no original shipping costs to refund. If you paid for an upgraded shipping service (which may be offered during peak periods), that fee will be refunded.

d) Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping is free for standard items. For furniture and large items, free home pickup is provided within the 30-day return window. If a return is initiated after the 30-day window, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.

8. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for items of equal or lesser value within 30 days of delivery. If you wish to exchange an item for one of higher value, you will need to pay the price difference.

9. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

- Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@furniturewarehouseshow.com or +1 201 770 1411
- Provide photos of the damage and your order number
- Do not discard the original packaging

We will arrange for:
- A free replacement with a new item, or
- A full refund (including original shipping costs)

Damaged or defective items are not subject to the standard return window limitations. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

10. Order Cancellation

a) Before Shipment: Orders may be cancelled free of charge prior to shipment. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@furniturewarehouseshow.com.

b) After Shipment: Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may initiate a return after the item is delivered, in accordance with this "Return and Refund Policy."

c) Custom Orders: Custom-made items may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, custom orders cannot be cancelled, as production may have already commenced.


11. Delayed or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe:

- Please double-check your bank or credit card statement.
- Contact your bank or credit card company, as processing times vary by institution.
